Custom children's portraits from your photos
Children change faster than photo albums can keep up. A portrait fixes one particular age on the wall — the gap in the teeth, the fringe they insisted on, the way they climbed that tree.

Catching a specific age, not a generic child
Portraits made from your own photo hold onto the details that disappear within a year: baby teeth, freckles, a favourite jumper, the exact length of a first haircut.
Facial proportions are kept true to a child's age rather than aged up, so a four-year-old still looks four in the finished artwork.
The best photos of children to use
Candid beats posed almost every time. Children absorbed in something — digging, reading, riding, laughing at someone off-camera — make the most alive portraits.
Light and distance
Outdoor shade, or indoors near a big window, gives soft even light on small faces. Avoid direct flash, which flattens skin and eyes.
Kneel to their height. Photos taken from adult standing height distort proportions and hide the expression you are trying to keep.
Siblings together
Sibling portraits work well when both children are at a similar distance from the camera. Nobody is resized or moved in the artwork, so a hug or a shoulder-to-shoulder pose reads beautifully.
If you want one print per child, upload each photo separately and print at matching sizes for a set.
Nursery and bedroom framing
Watercolour is the natural choice for children's rooms: soft washes, warm paper white and a calm palette that sits well with pale walls and wooden furniture.
Print at 30 × 40 cm for a bedside wall or 40 × 50 cm / 16 × 20 in for a feature above a bed. Use acrylic glazing rather than glass in a child's room.
Gift ideas parents and grandparents love
A portrait of a child is one of the few gifts grandparents genuinely keep and display.
- First birthday and christening keepsakes
- Mother's Day and Father's Day prints
- Grandparent gifts printed in matching pairs
- End-of-school-year portraits marking each stage
- A yearly tradition: one portrait per child, per year
